Instructions for Using this Server
Click on Upload Login to upload media files to the system. When prompted, provide your login (for example: If the login is w0101010, you should enter "lrccd\w0101010") and Los Rios unified password. We currently support FLV format and a maximum file size of 100Mb.
Protect Your Videos
Please Note:
  1. Due to the size and space requirements of video files, we will not be backing up videos running on this server. Please make sure you keep a copy of any video you do not wish to lose.

  2. 1GB disk quotas have been assigned to folders storing videos. You will need to verify the space requirements of your files in order to stay below the 1Gb. limitation. (1 gigabit = 1024 megabits)
If you need any technical support, please contact the IT Help Desk at 8259, and report a trouble ticket.
Student Access for Copyright-Protected Material
If instructors post copyright protected materials on this system, then students must login before they can view those videos. When prompted, students should enter their eServices account username and password. It is important for instructors to make this clear in their instructions when providing a link to the copyright materials.

For example: If the login is w0101010, they should enter "lrccd\w0101010" as user and enter their eService's password.

Provide students with this link, http://lradp.losrios.edu, so they can reset their password if needed.

It is possible to embed your streaming media on a different web server. Just copy and paste the code below to your webpage. Please, replace username with your login name and filename.flv with your actual file.
